| Research Participation Program Centers for Disease Control and Prevention National Center for Health Marketing Division of Health Communications and Marketing Atlanta, Georgia Project Description: A project is available in the Marketing and Communication Strategies Branch, Division of Health Communication and Marketing (DHCM) within the National Center for Health Marketing at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. The research participant will be assigned to DHCM programs on program planning approaches for effective health communication and marketing activities and on the design and implementation of evaluation projects for health communication and marketing. The participant may also be asked to assist on program planning and evaluation of health communication and marketing programs in other NCHM divisions and centers. Candidates should have obtained, within the last 5 years, a doctoral degree in public health, behavioral sciences, communication or marketing, or relevant field is required. See project CDC-DHCM-2008-0022. | |

Malaria Consortium Uganda is seeking a Behaviour Change Communicaion Specialist to manage and further develop the BCC elements of programmes and to provide the strategic lead for the organisation’s BCC work. The post holder should be able to represent the organisation in national and international fora and contribute to international debate and development of BCC as an exciting, dynamic and invaluable tool to facilitate better health.

Cambridge, MA based health software company is developing simple behavior change software to allow health providers (physicians, nurses, etc.) to take a more productive approach to helping patients change behavior and lifestyle. We are looking for someone with expertise in behavioral change, particularly the Transtheoretical Model (TTM). Role will start as part-time/contract and could evolve to full-time.
